Christine Kalkanis

Ms Christine Kalkanis MSW, RSW, LCP has been providing direct care to clients since 1989.

Ms. Kalkanis’ wide range of services includes assisting persons living with the impact of Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injuries, Post-Traumatic Stress, Behaviour Management Needs, Special Needs, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Autism, Homelessness, Abuse, Mental Health and various Psychiatric Disorders.

In 1996, Ms. Kalkanis introduced Post-Traumatic Rehabilitation Services as a specialized service agency providing comprehensive Rehabilitation Support Worker Services and Specialized Attendant Care Services for the purpose of servicing the needs of the growing Ontario based clientele. In an effort to ensure that the core value of services was always met, Ms. Kalkanis introduced a seasoned management team in 2003 and this has provided for a consistent and successful approach to assessment of needs, care of needs, as well as post-settlement care.

In 2008, Ms. Kalkanis increased her responsibilities by providing efficient case management services. Having recently received her Life Care Planning designation, she has begun successfully completing Catastrophic Future Cost Reporting on behalf of legal counsel.

Ms. Kalkanis has historically stood trial as both an expert witness and rehabilitation specialist and has participated in the successful judgment of the top three MVA catastrophic settlements in Ontario.
